Nubian GoatsNubian Goats are a large, tall and solid breed. They are quickly identified by their long, handing ears. They have a coat of short , fine hair and could be any color ranging from solid to patterns. This breed is typically polled (no horns), however, should horns grow they are usually very small and grow in a downward curve. The Nubian Doe is an excellent milk producer and the milk has a much higher in butterfat than other breeds. The Nubian Doe typically has twins or triplets and is quite capable of caring for her babies with no human intervention. We have found that the Nubian is a very
curious breed of goat and they love human contact. They act more
like having a dog follow you around than a goat.

LaMancha GoatsThe Lamancha goat is a compact, wide breed that originated in the USA. This breed is referred to as a desert breed and does very well in warm climates. It is a dairy goat and one that has proven itself to be extremely sturdy. The main characteristic of the Lamancha is their ears. There are two types of ears that are acceptable in does and either type is no better than the other. The only ear acceptable for bucks is the gopher ear. a) elf ear: the maximum length of this type of ear is 2 inches with the end of the ear turned up or down and cartilage shapes the ear. b) gopher ear: the maximum
length of this type of ear is 1 inch with very little or no
cartilage in the ear. It is preferred that the ear be nonexistent,
