DDA Fntsy Mo's Mischiefmaker (Suzie)
December 28, 1999 - July 13, 2009 |

 |
I remember the first time I held Suzie in my
arms at Melody's home. Of course, I fell in love and we
promptly opened our hearts and home to Suzie and her sister,
Cleo. Suzie was never big on meeting new people, she wanted to
stick to her mama (me), unlike her sister, Cleo, who has never
met a stranger. My Suzie gave me beautiful babies and for
that I will be forever grateful to her. She took to motherhood
as she took to everything else in her life - with love and
determination.
We spent so much time together going for long
walks and she always made me laugh each time she came to a
stream or a water trough. She just couldn't pass by a watering
hole without putting her tootsies in and splashing about. How
many times I'd fill up their water trough with nice clean water
only to have Suzie promptly put all 4 feet in and start
splashing about, with me telling her to get her stinking feet
out of the clean water. She would simply stop splashing, look
at me and then get back to splashing. Nothing phased Suzie.
She was the Queen.
I loved her even more when I brought little 3
legged Sassy into our mastiff household and then Lady. Suzie
became their favorite to sit and lay with, she was always so
gentle. To get Suzie to go outside if she didn't want to go, all
I'd have to say is "Lets get Sassy and Lady". Then Suzie was up
and out, checking of course to make sure I wasn't lying about
having Sassy and Lady join us. I could go on and on about this
wonderful girl who gave me such joy in her lifetime. We've had
such great adventures together, but this one she needed to go on
ahead of me. I will miss her sloppy wet kisses, her head propped
up on my leg when I was telling her a story, her enjoyment of a
pool of water, her never ending love and devotion to me.
My Suzie Q, I'll see you again and there won't
be a day that goes by that I won't miss you.

Amos
March 2005 - March 13, 2009 |

|
He loved taking care of his cows and he loved Lily. Lily kept
him
young by always wanting him to play a bit with her. He also was
so very dedicated to me. I always
said that if I was lost in the woods, the only dog I'd want with
me was Amos. He would have done
anything for me. He was one of my first Pyr's and has proven to
be the very best. I will miss him
terribly and I'm sure Lily will also.

Moorgrove White Primrose (Peanut)
April 30, 1997 - January 20, 2009
|

 |
Peanut would have celebrated her 12th birthday this April. Peanut
came from England when she was 4 months old. When we got to the
airport to pick her up, I opened the crate, and out came the tiniest
4 mo old mastiff I had ever seen. So the name of Peanut stuck with
her. Peanut was mine through and through. Along with several other
mastiffs, Peanut was always with me on car rides and long walks.
Her unlikely friend and companion was Sassy, our three legged
adoptee (who thinks she's a mastiff), as
well as Dolly. All 3 were always together. Peanut ruled the roost
here and there wasn't a mastiff around who didn't listen to Peanut.
A look was
all she had to give - enough said!
We had some great adventures together, but this last adventure she
needed to take care of by herself, with me reminding her that I'll
see her again.

Millridge Daisy Mae
July 28, 2003 - January 16, 2008 |
|
|
Daisy Mae gave so much in her short
lifetime. She was never in trouble, always doing what was
asked of her. The biggest gift she ever gave was when
she gave birth naturally to 16 babies on Halloween 2005,
which lasted until the following day. What a wonderful
mama she turned out to be. Daisy Mae was my walking
buddy. She was always at my side and when we went
walking with 9 other mastiffs, I could put my hand down and
she was right there under it. When we took a rest,
she'd be sitting right at my side leaning into my leg.
I will miss you so until we meet
again.

DayDreamAcre Swinging On A Star (Sofia)
October 31st, 2005 - July 30th, 2008 |

Sofia was my special little girl since the day she was born.
She took care of me when I was sad and she always had me
laughing.
Shown as a puppy in the first three photos and in July 2007

Day Dream's Southern Comfort (Peaches)
May 13, 2004 - March 14, 2007 |
|
|
Peaches picked me. She only had eyes for me and would
follow me everywhere. That never changed. We did just
about everything together. She loved everybody she met and
was loved right back. She will be sorely missed.
She is
shown above in August of 2006 and then as a puppy in the
second photo with Max and in the third photo on her own. She
is shown with me in the last photo.

Dagwood
1989 - 2006
Dagwood was my first
goat and is the reason I
fell in love with goats.
He was always the gentleman.
He never met anyone he didn't
like. He'll be sadly missed.

Ginger
2002 - 2006
Ginger was my first ever orphan lamb. Because her sheep mama
didn't want
her, Ginger grew up in the kennel with the mastiffs. Our
mastiff, Dolly, was
Ginger's first playmate.
